FireComm offers three tiers of international calling to balance security, cost control, and business flexibility.
By default, international calling is blocked for all users to protect against toll fraud and unauthorized charges.
Administrators can request access to one of the following plans through FireComm Support.
To place an international call, dial:
011 + [Country Code] + [Phone Number]Example: 011 61 3 9669 4916 β connects to the Melbourne Weather & Time Institute (Australia).
The prefix 011 is required to route calls outside the U.S. Without it, the call will fail or return an error.
The Light International option enables calling to the most frequently used global regions.
Overview: Perfect for organizations that occasionally make international calls to high-volume regions. To enable, contact FireComm Support.
The Limited International option (also known as Full Coverage) includes all Light destinations plus additional countries worldwide.
Overview: Includes all Light destinations plus broader coverage across Africa, Europe, and Latin America. Best for organizations with global clients or international offices. Contact FireComm Support to activate.
The Permit All option allows dialing to any international destination supported by the FireComm carrier network.
This setting removes all restrictions on international calling. Itβs recommended only for organizations with active call monitoring and strict usage controls. Unauthorized or fraudulent activity may result in significant charges.
Access must be manually approved by FireComm Support. Once enabled, it overrides Light and Limited restrictions.
International rates vary by destination and are billed per minute.
