Essential information for using your FireComm service.

Requirements
- FireComm Account
Making Phone Calls
- Dialing a Phone Number
- FireComm utilizes 10-Digit Dialing for all non-international calls.
- (Area Code) Phone - Number (ex: (444) 555-1212)
- You do not have to dial a 1 for any domestic calls
- There is no prefix before calling a phone number.
- Dialing an Extension
- FireComm uses 3 or 4 digit extensions
- There is no prefix before calling an extension.
Hold vs Park
- Hold
- A hold can only be picked up from the device it was placed on.
- Park
- A park can be picked up from any device on the account.
- Park must be setup on the account to use.
Transferring Calls
Attended / Announced Transfer
This allows you to speak with the recipient before transferring them the call.
- While on an active call.
- Press the Transfer button.
- This will automatically place the active call on hold.
- Dial the extension or phone number to transfer to.
- Press Send / Call to call
- Inform the recipient about the call you are transferring them.
- Press Transfer to transfer the call.
Blind / Quick Transfer
This transfers a call without speaking to the recipient about the call.
- While on an active call.
- Press the Transfer button.
- This will automatically place the call on hold.
- Dial the extension or phone number to transfer to.
- Press the Transfer button.
Transfer to Voicemail
This allows you to transfer a call directly to a users voicemail without ringing the user.
- While on an active call.
- Press the Transfer button.
- This will automatically place the call on hold.
- Dial 7 + extension of the user to transfer to the voicemail of.
- Ex: Extension 104 - Dial 7104
- Press the Transfer button
